Basic mix calculators tell you a ratio. This one tells you if that ratio is even right for the surface.
Pick the substrate, and get sourced concentration, dwell time, and application guidance — pulled from manufacturer documentation and published industry training, with citations, not from a forum thread.
Free to use, right now. No email required to see a result.
Coming soon: chemical-consumption/area estimates. We don't have a sourced coverage-rate reference yet, so we're not going to guess at one. How does this tool work? ↓
comments on one real thread where a solo operator asked how to clean an unidentified stain — and no two replies agreed on what the substrate even was, let alone the fix. Guessing the chemistry starts with guessing the surface.
No black box. Here's exactly where the numbers come from.
Every concentration and dwell-time figure is pulled from manufacturer documentation (Dryvit, Trex, ARMA — the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association) or established softwashing industry training material. Nothing here is inferred from forum comments or generated on the fly.
Each result shows the source it came from, right under the guidance itself — not buried in a footer link. If two sources disagree, we show the range and say so.
If we don't have a defensible published source for a substrate yet, it's marked "coming soon" instead of getting a guessed answer — clay tile roofs, metal roofing, and coated concrete are next up for sourcing.
